Students presented a check for $330 to Gene Purcell of the Lamotte Township Fire Department for the Toys for Tots program.

 

Palestine students recently enjoyed the Wiinter Ball.

 

A fifth grader sits at her teacher's desk for a day.  She used her blue bucks she received
from the PBIS program to purchase a day sitting at her teacher's desk.

 

PGS students participated in a Bicycle Fitness Program for October to keep track of
how many minutes they rode their bicycles. Krescene Holscher rode 705 minutes,
Brody Beabout rode for 695 minutes, and Shawn Divine rode for 655 minutes. As
the top 3 riders, they were presented with a Bicycle Fitness Award, 5 PBIS Blue
Bucks to spend in the PGS Expectation Station, and $10 each. The money was
donated by an anonymous community member. PGS students will compete again in
April and May for the Awards.

 

PGS students in PreK-4 showed off their Halloween costumes with a Costume Parade on
Wednesday for parents, teachers, and Jr. High students. After the parade all
students enjoyed a popcorn party given by the PBIS Team.

 

 

PGS students held a mock election.  President Obama won their election with 57% of the vote.
